What we collect, why, and who else sees it.

Last updated 19 September 2026

What we collect

We do not collect anything we do not need, and we do not buy or sell personal data.

  • When you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile photo.
  • When you check out: your delivery address and phone number.
  • Your cart, so it is still there when you come back.
  • Your order history, and any support tickets you raise.
  • Standard server logs, which include your IP address.

Your card details never reach us

Payments are processed entirely by Razorpay on their own systems. Card numbers, UPI PINs and netbanking credentials are never sent to our servers and are never stored by us.

What we receive back from Razorpay is a payment identifier, the amount, the method used (UPI, card, netbanking) and whether it succeeded.

Why we use it

  • To take payment and send you what you ordered.
  • To reach you about your order or your support ticket.
  • To keep records we are required to keep for tax and accounting.
  • To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

Who else sees it

Each of these receives only what it needs to do its job. We do not share your details with anyone else, and we never sell them.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for eight years, which is the retention period Indian tax law expects.

Support tickets are kept for two years after they are closed.

Your cart is kept until you clear it or your account is deleted.

Seeing or deleting your data

Email support@rotorlab.in and ask. We will tell you what we hold, correct anything wrong, or delete it.

We cannot delete records of completed orders while we are legally required to keep them, but we can remove everything else and close your account.
